What this site stores
Short version: almost nothing, and nothing at all unless you say yes.
Analytics
If you press Allow on the cookie notice, this site loads Google Analytics. It records which pages get visited, roughly where in the world visitors are, and which site sent you here. It tells me whether a video description link is working, and which guides people actually read.
It does not run until you allow it. Press No thanks and no analytics script is loaded at all. Not a blocked one, not a limited one. None.
I don't sell anything to anyone, there's no advertising on this site, and I have no interest in identifying individual visitors.
The one thing stored either way
Whichever button you press, your answer is saved in your browser's local storage so you aren't asked again on every page. That's it. It's a single yes or no, it never leaves your device, and it's the one thing that doesn't need consent because without it the notice couldn't work.
YouTube videos
Videos on this site are click-to-play. Until you press play, nothing loads from YouTube except the still image, and the embed uses youtube-nocookie.com. Once you do press play, YouTube's own terms and privacy policy apply to that player, as they would anywhere else.
Fonts
Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means Google sees the request for the font files. No cookies are set by it.
Affiliate links
Some links on the Gear page earn me a small commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. Those retailers do their own tracking once you land on their site. That's between you and them, and their privacy policy covers it. Nothing about you is passed to them from here beyond the fact you came from this page.
Contact forms, accounts, newsletters
There aren't any. This is a static site. There's no database, no login, and nowhere for your details to be stored even if you wanted to give them.
Primed3D
Primed3D runs entirely in your browser. Models are never uploaded anywhere, because there's no server to upload them to.
Changes
If any of this changes, this page changes with it.
